Water Fall

A waterfall is a natural phenomenon where water cascades over a steep drop, often formed in rivers or streams flowing over hard rock layers resistant to erosion. Over time, softer rock beneath erodes, creating breathtaking vertical drops. Waterfalls can vary in size and type, such as plunge, horsetail, cascade, and tiered falls. They are found in diverse landscapes, from tropical rainforests to icy mountain regions, and serve as major tourist attractions, sources of hydroelectric power, and habitats for unique ecosystems. Some of the world’s most famous waterfalls include Niagara Falls (USA/Canada), Victoria Falls (Zambia/Zimbabwe), and Angel Falls (Venezuela), the tallest uninterrupted waterfall on Earth.
